No Cookies.
No Trackers.
No Banner.
This site collects almost nothing, so this policy is short. Here is exactly what happens when you visit, what happens when you email us, and what you can require of us.
Scope. This document covers this website, delteris.com, and nothing else. It does not govern the Elenchon platform, your subscription, or the appliance in your facility — those are covered by the supply agreement and, where applicable, the data processing agreement issued with your quotation. If you are an Elenchon customer looking for your contract, email contact@delteris.com and we will send you a copy.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Delteris ("Delteris", "we", "us"), a company registered in Portugal under number [[NIPC]], with its registered office at [[REGISTERED ADDRESS]]. For anything in this policy, write to contact@delteris.com.
We are the controller of the personal data described below. We are not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer and have not done so.
2. The short version
This site is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no tracking pixels, hosts no advertising and has no login. We do not build profiles of visitors and, from a visit alone, we cannot identify you. The only personal data we actively collect is what you choose to put in an email to us.
3. Data processed when you visit
3.1 Server logs
Our hosting provider automatically records standard technical request data — IP address, timestamp, requested page, referrer and user-agent string — in order to serve the site and protect it from abuse. These logs sit with the provider under its own retention schedule, typically a matter of days. We do not consult them for marketing, and we do not combine them with anything else.
3.2 Web fonts
The site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Making that request discloses your IP address and browser details to Google Ireland Limited. If you would rather it did not, a browser extension that blocks third-party font requests prevents it, and the site renders correctly with system fonts.
3.3 Cookies
None. We set no cookies of any kind, which is why you have not been asked to dismiss a banner.
4. Data processed when you contact us
The contact page invites you to email us. When you do, we process the content of your message and whatever details you include — typically a name, an email address, a company, and sometimes a phone number. We use it to answer you, and to keep a record of the exchange.
Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who approach us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, where your message concerns a possible purchase, taking steps at your request before entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
Enquiries that do not lead to a contract are deleted within 24 months of the last message. Where an enquiry becomes a commercial relationship, the resulting records fall under the supply agreement rather than this policy.
5. What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent or trade personal data.
- We do not run advertising or share data with ad networks.
- We do not use personal data for automated decision-making or profiling.
- We do not add you to a mailing list because you emailed us once.
- We do not receive or hold any data from an Elenchon appliance through this website.
6. Who else is involved
The list is deliberately short:
- GitHub, NameCheap, Cloudflare — serves these pages and keeps the request logs described above.
- Google Ireland Limited — delivers the web fonts.
- Google Gmail — hosts our mailboxes, and therefore processes correspondence you send us.
We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
7. Transfers outside the EEA
Some of the providers above may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens the transfer relies on an adequacy decision or on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask us for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct or erase it, ask us to restrict how we use it, object to our use of it, or ask for it in a portable format. Where we rely on legitimate interests you can object at any time, and we will stop unless we have compelling grounds not to.
Email contact@delteris.com to exercise any of these. We respond within one month. It is free, and we will not treat you differently for asking.
If you think we have handled your data badly we would rather hear it from you first, but you are entitled to complain directly to the Portuguese supervisory authority, the Comissão Nacional de Protecção de Dados (CNPD), at www.cnpd.pt.
9. Security
The site is served over HTTPS and contains no database, no forms and no user accounts — which removes most of the ways a website leaks data. Access to our mailboxes is limited to the founders and protected by multi-factor authentication.
10. Children
This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly process their data.
11. Changes
If we change this policy we update the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be described here rather than slipped in quietly.
