A blank heat-input column is filled from the arc parameters — and flagged, never slipped in quietly.
Many WPS forms leave heat input off the sheet, expecting it to be derived. Rather than import a hole, WPS Manager computes it — and tells you it did, so you can check it against the PQR.
- Calculated from the arc parameters: Where the heat-input cell is empty, the app computes it as current × voltage × 60 ÷ travel speed × process efficiency, per EN 1011-1.
- Always flagged, never silent: A computed heat input is shaded and surfaced for confirmation against the PQR — a number you can trust because you can see where it came from.
